HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland City Council is set to meet at 6 p.m. today, Sept. 15, 2021, at Holland City Hall, 270 S. River Ave. in Holland.
The packed agenda includes:
- approval for the city hall’s third floor renovation, which includes the purchase of office furniture
- new sign phases for some streets
- Updating city documents to reflect changes to FEMA flood insurance maps
- Setting a public hearing for the final adoption of the Tenth Street snowmelt assessment for 6 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Of the $$64,653.72 total cost, Pillar Church is set to pay the most, 23,398.84. This project extends snowmelt mains along Columbia Avenue between Ninth and 10th streets and along 10th Street between Central and River avenues.
- Proposed engineering plans for Country Club Road reconstruction, between Eights Street and Legion Park Drive, at an initial cost of $150,000, with actual construction costs to be determined, and
- Holland Board of Public Works’ 64-month land lease with Country Corners Farm, related to surrounding land at the Greenly substation
