HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A two-vehicle crash this morning sent one person to the hospital, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s authorities.
A 23-year-old Allendale woman had been driving her 2007 Saturn sedan north on 56th Avenue, but when she got to the intersection at Tyler Street, she failed to stop at the stop sign, according to police.
Her car was hit by a Ford Escape with a 67 year-old Hudsonville man at the wheel. He had been eastbound on Tyler.
Blendon Township firefighters were able to extricate the woman from the Saturn.
She went by ambulance to Spectrum Health Butterworth in Grand Rapids with what police said were moderate injuries.
The Hudsonville man was not physically injured. The crash remains under investigation.
