David VanDenBrink, age 78, went home to his Savior on August 26, 2021, after a long journey with Alzheimer’s disease.
Dave enjoyed God’s creation as an outdoorsman: hunting, fishing, golfing, traveling, and riding his motorcycle. He used his gift of music singing and playing the French horn. He was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church. His greatest joy was spending time with his family. He will be dearly missed by his family and all who cared for him.
He was proceeded in death by his parents, Ray and Margaret (Poll)
VanDenBrink, brother Tom VanDenBrink, sister Ardelle Graham and a niece, Elayna Durso.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy, of 54 years; son Tim (Amy) VanDenBrink; daughters Jennifer (Dan) Mills, Teresa (Bill) Emery, and Laura (Brent) Shoemaker; brother Cal (Jane) VanDenBrink; 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be 12:30 pm, Monday, August 30, 2021, at Pilgrim Home Cemetery, 370 E. 16th Street, Holland, MI 49423. Family and friends are welcome.
A visitation will be from 2-4 pm, Sunday, August 29, 2021, at Dykstra Funeral Homes-Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street in Holland.
