Beverly Ann Van Dyke (Timmer), age 77, of Zeeland, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, July 18, 2021, at SKLD Nursing Home. Beverly has been eternally healed and is rejoicing to walk again.
Beverly was born and raised in Michigan. She enjoyed teaching, sewing, reading, and doing mission work. She was especially proud of her work with the Winnebago Indians. She lived many years in New Jersey but in 1993, she moved back to Michigan and has resided at SKLD Nursing Home in Zeeland, since 2015.
She was preceded in death by; her parents, William G. and Anna Mae (South) Timmer; and infant daughter, Emily Rose Van Dyke.
Beverly is survived by; her children, Vonda Jean Van Dyke of Hamilton, Bonita Ann and Joel Weber (Mark Philip, Levi William) of Nicholasville, KY, Emelene Joy Van Dyke (Justin Andrew, Brandon Douglas, Hunter William) of Lubbock, TX, and Nathan George Van Dyke of Muskegon and 1 great-grandson. She is also survived by her sister Jerene Brink of Zeeland and her sisters-in-law Anna TerHaar of Hamilton and Eunice Timmer of Zeeland and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 23 at Lakeshore Memorial Services.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 24, 2021, at Lakeshore Memorial Service, 11939 James Street, Holland. Pastor Connie Schutte will officiate. Following the service, there will be a time of gathering for the sharing of memories. A graveside service will be at Graafschap Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Good Samaritan Ministries in Holland and Kuyper College in Grand Rapids.
