HOLALND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 26-year-old Holland man is behind bars at the Ottawa County Jail, after a car-building crash that did more damage to the building than to people.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Dill said the man had been driving a Lexus on 136th Avenue, but lost control, hitting the Pure West Compassion Club Marijuana Dispensary, 336 North River Avenue. The crash shoved the building off its foundation, causing major structural damage. The crash happened at 2:30 a.m. Friday, July 16, 2021.
No one was was in the building at the time and the driver wasn’t hurt. He was arrested without incident and awaits arraignment on traffic-related charges, according to Dill.
So sad, they just fixed it up so nice. I feel bad for the owners.
