DETROIT MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Tigers are hosting the Summer Baseball Bash on Saturday, with several former players and former manager Jim Leyland on hand for autographs and pictures.
Players from the 1968 and 1984 World Series championship teams, plus players from the 2006 and 2012 American League championship teams, are scheduled to appear.
In addition, upper-level seats are on sale for only $5, while supplies last, and an on-field ceremony with the former Tigers will take place, to honor frontline and essential workers’ efforts during the pandemic.
The event will be capped off with the Tigers taking on Minnesota.
