Juella Van Dam

Juella Van Dam, age 91, went home to her heavenly father on July 14, 2021.  Juella was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Wiersma and Nelson Van Dam, her stepson Dennis Van Dam and her grandson Matthew Van Dam.  She will be remembered by her children Michael (Shaun) Wiersma, James (Lonna) Wiersma, stepchildren Wayne (Jill) Van Dam, Sharon Van Dam, Paul (Dawn) Van Dam, and Marc (Mary) Van Dam.  19 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren.  Sister Joyce Hamberg and sister-in-law Shirley Ver Beek.  Juella loved her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She also enjoyed spending time with her best friends Judi and Herk Blauwkamp. A celebration of Juella’s life will take place at 10:00 am on Saturday, July 17 at Oakland Christian Reformed Church, 4460 38^th St, Hamilton, MI  49419.  Visitation with relatives and friends will take place at Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S State Street, Zeeland, MI  49464, on Friday, July 16 from 5:00-7:00 pm.  In honor of Juella, contributions may be made to the Library Fund at Oakland Christian Reformed Church.
