Janet Tuls, age 97, of Holland, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, June 25, 2021.
She is survived by her children: David and Linda Tuls, Karyn and Bob Helder, and Judy and Dave Rozema; 9 grandchildren: Jennifer Mc Coy and Scott White, Christina Haskins, Paul, and Lorrie Helder, Doug and Robin Helder, Janna and Jeremy Berens, Julie and Christian Akalazu, Jeff and Becky Rozema, Steve and Jen Rozema, and Christie and Dan De Graff; and 26 great-grandchildren; her siblings: Donna Grotenhuis, and Donald and Esther Piers.
Janet was preceded in death by her husband Donald R. Tuls in 2013, her great-granddaughter Ellie De Graff, and her sister Norma Bosman. She was an active member of Bethany Christian Reformed Church where she served on the Bethany Guild, Dorcas Society, Fellowship Club, Coffee Break, and the Life Together Group. Janet also volunteered at the Holland Hospital Coffee and Gift Shop, Jefferson School, and Holland Christian Schools. Janet worked for several years at De Vries and Dornbos.
Visitation will be 5-7 pm Monday, July 5, 2021, at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 East 16th Street, Holland. The funeral service will be 10 am, July 6, 2021, at Bethany Christian Reformed Church, 11 East 32nd Street, Holland. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
