HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — One man is in custody, another is sought, as Ottawa County Sheriff’s detectives investigate the report of a theft of construction supplies at the South Blendon Vista Apartment site near the intersection of 48th Avenue and Port Sheldon Street in Blendon Township.
Deputies, sent to the scene at 7:42 p.m. Saturday, June 26, 2021, found a truck containing suspected stolen construction supplies, and spotted two suspects running away.
A Sheriff’s K-9 team responded to the scene, helping locate one suspect, who was taken into custody without incident, according to police. All the alleged stolen property was recovered at the scene and returned to the owner, police said.
