HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – If someone comes to the 8th Street Marketplace in Holland on Sunday (June 27, 2021), they may come upon a scene that would be more in keeping with the Holland Farmers Market that takes that location every Saturday.
Merchants and Makers, a regional traveling shopping event that organizers say combines an art show, craft fair, live music and vendors into “a true party,” will descend from 10 AM to 3 PM. Created by Hope College graduates Shyle Lyons and Meghan French four years ago, these events emphasized what they say are, “what shoppers wanted and what makers craved – fun, ease, quality, local products, and community over competition.”
Admission to Merchants and Makers is free, and for those who cannot come this Sunday, Lyons and French have another event slated for the Riverfront area of Grand Haven on July 10th.
