HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County Sheriff’s authorities are investigating the report of an assault at Holland State park on Saturday, June 5, 2021.
The victim, who is not described by police, reported being accosted by a white male Saturday afternoon near the bathrooms at the main pavilion.
According to police, the suspect brandished a knife at the victim and they walked a short distance to a vehicle, where the suspect drove the victim to a second location and later released the victim.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 20s, standing, 5-feet, 10 inches to six-fee tall; weighing 175 pounds with brown hair. He was last seen wearing black and blue shorts with a white t-shirt and was driving a black four-door sedan. The victim had what police called minor injuries and was treated and released from an area hospital.
