Greg Meadowcroft, DC Beloved husband, father, and chiropractor passed away May 21, 2021, in his home surrounded by his family after a difficult battle with cancer.
As a chiropractor who practiced with integrity and faith, “Doc” was able to help so many in the community and afar who had seemingly unsolvable health problems. Known for his Hawaiian shirts and jovial personality, he knew how to live life to the fullest – waking up every day on what he called “the happiness plane”, and taking advantage of the beauty in nature. A real outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, kayaking, camping, and target shooting with his daughters and best friends year-round.
His early years spent in boy scouts and summer swimming camps spurred him on later in life to become a deep-sea diver working in underwater construction in Alabama, Florida, and locally, the Grand River. His adventures too numerous to mention here, but intense and occasionally humorous, nonetheless, made for super-interesting attention-grabbing stories.
Greg was a devoted and loving husband to Marlene, and father to Robin (Kyle MacKillop) and Sophie, and grandfather to “CoCobean” (Cora Violet MacKillop). Greg always put his family first; he was there for us and we always felt protected and covered. His presence, smile, and that silly sense of humor that made him laugh deeply will be so missed. We love you forever, Greg.
