HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Holland Public Schools’ board of education continues interviews for a new superintendent today, Thursday, May 27, 2021.
Candidate’s interviews schedule:
- 4:30 to 5:20 p.m.: Michael Pascoe, Portage Public Schools’ assistant superintendent of instruction
- 5:30 to 6:20 p.m.: Shanie Keelean, Associate Superintendent of School Leadership and Development, Waukegan Community Unit School District #60, Illinois
- 7 to 7:50 p.m.: Scott Smith, Cedar Springs Public Schools’ superintendent

School officials indicated the two finalists will get a district tour on June 1 with interviews set for 4 and 5:15 p.m., respectively. People can watch the meetings live online and complete a feedback form to submit to the board of education. At 6:30 p.m., the finalists will be interviews in a townhall-style meeting. Each candidate will be given time to share a brief background of themselves. A moderator will get individuals’ questions to candidates. Viewers will be invited to share feedback forms after that session, as well.
