HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Marine patrol responders were called early this morning, Tuesday, May 18, 2021, to a Grand Haven’s piers on the report that a man had gone into the water. It’s unclear if he fell or jumped, according to police radio scanner traffic.
The call from a witness came just before 3 a.m. on the report of a man who went into the water and appeared to be drifting out with the current. Grand Haven police, the U.S. Coast Guard and the Ottawa County Sheriff’s marine patrol are among those responding to the scene, according to police radio scanner traffic.
