HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 45-year-old South Haven man went by ambulance to the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries after a cement truck hit his 2014 Honda Accord just after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2021, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s authorities.
Crash investigators indicated the cement-truck driver, a 61-year-old Wyoming man, was southbound on 56th Avenue at Adams Street, where there is a stop sign. The cement truck hit the Accord’s driver-side door. The South Haven man driving the Accord had the right of way on eastbound Adams, according to the police report.
Police indicated the cement-truck driver got a ticket for failing to yield the right of way.
