HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – It has taken a year for the Hope Summer Repertory Theatre to announce its calendar for its 49th season.
A total of six productions will be put forward by the program, established in 1972 with the goal of bringing accomplished professionals and students together for a learning experience while providing top-level entertainment to the Lakeshore area. The program was idled last summer due to the COVID 19 outbreak.
Opening night on June 24th at the Pine Grove on the Hope College campus featured the one-man play “Every Brilliant Thing.” Other productions include “The Mountaintop,” “The Importance of Being Earnest,” “Children of a Lesser God,” “A Night of Music with Alex Thompson,” and “A Year with Frog and Toad.”
The HSRT season runs through August 5th.
