HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – More than one milestone will be observed this Saturday.
Not only will the Tulip Time Festival return after a year’s hiatus due to the COVID 19 outbreak, but it’s 10 years since the arrival of the current Executive Director of Holland’s annual signature event, Gwen Auwerda.
“It’s been awesome to see the changes in the festival over this last 10 years,” she said on “WHTC Morning News” during a recorded appearance on Wednesday. “Unfortunately, the cancellation in 2020 has led to a rebuilding phase, so it’s been quite the ride and one that I thoroughly enjoy.”
The 91st Tulip Time Festival begins its eight-day run on May 1st.
