HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County Sheriff’s detectives are looking for Jaime Secundino, 21, of Wyoming.
Secundino faces charges in and charged in connection with the mass shooting at the Enclave Apartments, 4926 Becker Drive in Allendale Township on April 10, 2021. The charges include three counts of assault with intent to murder; one count of discharge of firearm in or at building causing injury, and two counts of felony firearm.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Capt. Mark Bennett indicated police have been intensely investigating the shooting, which led to four men being wounded, one critically.
Information from witnesses and Silent Observer were key to developing probable cause that led to the charges, according to Bennett.
Detectives believe that Secundino was attending a party at an Enclave apartment when the shooting occurred. The motive for the shooting is still under investigation, Bennett noted, added that at this time no one involved appears to be a GVSU student, but the campus is close to the apartment complex.
The men shot that day continue recovering from their injuries, according to Bennett.
Seccundino is at large, and Bennett asked that anyone with any information contact Silent Observer at www.mosotips.com or 877-88-SILENT.
