HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — With Michigan residents experiencing a fourth surge of COVID-19, Ottawa County Health officials have several free drive-through testing events set up.
These are rapid tests and people get results within 15 to 30 minutes. People getting tested do not need an appointment, a doctor’s order or insurance to get this free test. Organizer do want to see a legal form of ID.
People getting tested should arrive wearing an appropriate mask. No pets are allowed at these events
Times and dates:
- 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays, April 10, 17 and 24: Tests will be in the parking lot at Ottawa County’s Health Department’s office at 12251 James St. People getting tested should use the Holland Charter Township Fire Department entrance.
- 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesdays, April 13 and 20: Coopersville United Methodist Church, 105 68th Ave North, Coopersville
People are encouraged to pre-register, so county officials can have the right number of tests and staff.
