HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A three-vehicle crash on Port Sheldon at eastbound Chicago Drive in Georgetown Township sent one person to Spectrum Zeeland with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Nicholas Knott.
He indicated a 21-year-old Sparta man, driving a 2005 Buick west on Port Sheldon through the Chicago Drive intersection crossed the center line, hitting a 2016 Chrysler Town and Country van that had been eastbound, according to police. The crash happened just after 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 8, 2021.
The Buick then hit a 2012 Honda, which had also been eastbound on Port Sheldon, according to police. The driver of the third vehicle went by ambulance to Spectrum Zeeland, according to Knott, and the Sparta man was ticketed for speeding and driving left of the center lane.
