HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The recent warm weather is coaxing flowers into bloom, including the first of thousands of tulips in and around Holland.
From Eighth Street and in spots along the city’s Tulip Lanes, bright-colored petals are emerging.
Linda Hart, executive director of Holland’s visitor’s bureau, told WHTC’s Gary Stevens almost every call to her office includes a question about how the floral display is coming along.
She said she expected the flower in full bloom between April 26 through 28.
“A full bloom means 75 percent of the tulips are blooming,” she said, adding that flowering fruit trees are also beings to bloom as well.
