Myra Jane Zwiep passed away peacefully at her residence in Freedom Village on April 7 into the loving arms of Jesus. She was 92 years old. Her strong Christian faith was evident throughout her life and was passed down through three generations of her family.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who was always available for her family. She also was on the Resthaven board for many years and a member of the Literary Club.
She is preceded in death by her devoted husband, Ted, two brothers, Howard Lambers and Paul Lambers, brothers-in-law, Edgar Prince and Charles Witteveen, and great-grandson, James Colerouser.
She is lovingly remembered by her children; Tom (Linda) Zwiep, Ellen (David) Van’t Hof, Laurie (Jim) Robinson, Dirk (Sally) Zwiep, Christie (Dirk) Start, and Jana (Glenn) Bulthuis, fifteen grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren; sister, Carol Witteveen; in-laws, Donna Lambers, Elsa Prince Broekhuizen and husband Ren Broekhuizen, Clair and Elaine Zwiep.
There will be a private family celebration of her life on Monday, April 12, 2021, at Harderwyk Ministries, 1627 Lakewood Blvd. Holland with Rev. Ren Broekhuizen officiating. Burial will take place prior to the service at Graafschap Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Harderwyk Ministries, Holland Christian Schools, or Resthaven.
