Paul E. Barman, 92, of Holland, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021.
Paul was born June 12, 1928, in Holland to Albert and Margaret Barman. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He married Ruth Hoffman in 1951 and they raised their children in Holland. Paul worked and drove for Brewer’s for over 35 years before his retirement. He was a lifelong attendee of Immanuel Church. Paul was preceded in death by his wife Ruth in 1994.
He is survived by his children: Beverly and Richard Jarrett, Daniel and Diane Barman, Harvey Barman, June, and Jim Harsevoort, Carl and Donna Barman; grandchildren: Zachariah and Allison Jarrett, Jeremiah Jarrett, Ryan, and Julie Barman, Ashley and Aaron Slagh, Jeff and Brooke Harsevoort, Racheal Barman and fiancé Zach Houtman, and Hunter Barman; great-grandchildren: Maci Barman, Cole Barman, Kenzie Slagh, AJ Slagh, Aubrey Harsevoort, Colton Harsevoort, Laci Houtman, and a soon-to-be great-granddaughter, sister Eleanor Klomp, brother Robert Barman, and many extended families.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m, Tuesday. March 16, 2021, at Immanuel Church, 325 104th Avenue, Holland 49423. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E. 16th Street, Holland 49423. Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland.
