HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – The Holland City Council and the Board of the Holland Board of Public Works will be having a joint “skull session” this evening – virtually, of course, during these COVID 19 times.
During the 5:30 PM study session, the members will be updated on the ongoing effort to expand and improve the BPW’s broadband efforts. The Tulip City has been a leader in municipal internet access through the utility’s fiber optic network that was installed several years ago, and officials have been looking at ways to expand the city’s own internet service beyond the immediate downtown area.
Information on how the public can observe tonight’s study session, as well as submitting comment, is here.
