Trent Bell and Owen White each scored 17 points as Michigan Tech defeated Grand Valley State on Friday night, 65-59, in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference men’s basketball tournament semifinal game at Hammond, Indiana. The Lakers, at 12-7 on the season, are hoping to secure an at-large berth in the NCAA Division III championship tournament when bids are announced next week.
