HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — City of Holland officials say West 24th Street will be closed to all through traffic between VanRaalte and Ottawa Avenues from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, March 6, 2021.
Residents will be able to get to and from their homes from VanRaalte or Ottawa avenues, according to the city’s announcement. The closure is to allow a Benteler Aluminum Systems contractor, Gelock Transfer Lines, to park a crane and other equipment in the road to for work at their facility.
No through traffic will be allowed during this time. allowed, work being done on a Saturday should not cause issues for motorists in the area.
Gelock Transfer Lines is responsible for setting up and maintaining all barricades, signs and warning devices for public safety, according to the city’s announcement.
