Robert Leroy “Bob” Winters, 74, of Zeeland, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 19, 2021.
Bob was born on April 22, 1946, in Gaylord, Michigan. He went to work as a teenager to support his family during Vietnam War when his siblings all went off to serve in the armed forces. Bob worked at a number of auto-supplier manufacturers before his retirement, his longest stint at UTA.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Sue Winters, children: Tavis and Toni Winters and grandchildren, Troy Winters and Dawn Brooks grandchildren, Scott Dildine grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Robert Armstrong, Chad Armstrong grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Robbie Meyering, Stacy VanDine, and family, his sister Linda Winters, his brother Joseph Winters, and many extended family and friends.
A family service will be held. Arrangements are by the Yntema Funeral Home, 251 S. State Street, Zeeland MI 49464. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army. www.yntemafh.com
