TJ Van Koevering, age 19 of Zeeland went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Saturday, February 20, 2021.
He is survived by his parents Ty and Shelly Van Koevering; his siblings: MeKenna, Kyah, and Max; his grandparents: John and Bev Kuyers, Karen and Terry Yonker, and Bob and Nancy Van Koevering; his aunts and uncles: Mike and Lisa Kuyers, Mark and Ruth Kuyers, Cam and Shannon Van Koevering, Marissa and Chris Slager, and Matt and Lindsey Van Koevering; and several cousins and other extended families.
TJ was a member of Rusk Christian Reformed Church. He attended Borculo Christian School and graduated from Unity Christian High School in 2019. TJ excelled at football and basketball winning state championships in both sports his senior year. He earned all-state honors in both sports. TJ was employed at Mill Creek Construction.
Visitation will be 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. Thursday, February 25, 2021, at Rusk Christian Reformed Church, 10354 92nd Ave, Allendale. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday, February 26, 2021, at Fellowship Reformed Church, 6610 36th Ave., Hudsonville. Interment will be in Rusk Cemetery.
