Expansion gives HDL North Branch a comfy ‘living room’ feel. Now twice the size, the Holland Township facility retained its intimate feel. The $4 million renovation features study rooms, programming space, and an early literacy play area.
Finding the helpers: Holland Helpers connects helpers, those who need help. Holland Helpers connects those who need help with those who can offer it. The Facebook group, which is working toward official nonprofit status, is a stopgap measure for those who are waiting for assistance or who don’t qualify.

$9.8M federal grant to fund skills training for workers. GRCC and West Michigan Works! will lead a coalition focused on helping the unemployed and underemployed gain the skills needed for in-demand manufacturing fields.

Snowmen on Main Street
Feb. 13-20: Washington Avenue onto 7th Street, Grand Haven: Snowmen made without snow? But how? You’ll definitely want to check this out. Local schools, individuals, businesses, and organizations have created snowmen using anything but snow, and they will all be on display in downtown Grand Haven.
