Walt Kelser scored 20 points and Michael Peterson added 19 as Ferris State downed visiting Grand Valley State last night, 68-65. The Bulldogs host the Lakers again at Jim Wink Arena in Big Rapids this afternoon.

Barclay Goodrow scored the first of his two goals with about two and a half minutes remaining in the second period to break a 1-1 tie and spark the Tampa Bay Lightning past the visiting Red Wings last night, 3-1. Detroit opens a two-game series in suburban Miami against the Florida Panthers tomorrow afternoon; due to 2 PM Super Bowl 55 coverage, the next Wings’ broadcast on 99 7/1450 WHTC is on Tuesday evening at 6:45 PM with the rematch against the Panthers at BB&T Center.

Nikola Vucevic torched the Bulls for 43 points and 19 rebounds, but Orlando had to hold on to beat visiting Chicago last night, 123-119. The two teams have a rematch at the Amway Center this evening.
