HOLLAND (WTHC-AM/FM) — The Allegan County COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic scheduled for today — Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021 — is still on. If you have a scheduled appointment, county health officials are urging you to plan for travel, making sure you allow extra driving time, have enough fuel, and exercise extra caution on the road to the clinic.
If you must cancel your appointment, please email covidvaccine@allegancounty.org or call (269) 686-4546 and leave a message as soon as possible..
Anyone living or working in Allegan County who wants a COVID-19 vaccine can register via the “I Want the COVID-19 Vaccine” form at allegancounty.org/covid.
If you need a vaccine appointment, you can schedule one via Meijer Pharmacy, Spectrum Health Zeeland, and the West Michigan Vaccine Clinic. Health officials ask that you only sign up for one vaccine appointment.
Each appointment reserves a dose of the vaccine, a time-slot, and staff to deliver the vaccine. Multiple appointments at various sites hurts the program in two ways. People who need appointments may not be able to get them. Vaccine doses can be wasted when the person with the reservation doesn’t show up.
People needing assistance can call the ACHD COVID-19 Hotline, (269) 686-4546 to get help. ACHD follows State of Michigan priorities. Learn more at www.vaccinatewestmi.com or www.michigan.gov/covidvaccine.
