Cathy L. Arens, age 71, of Holland, passed away Thursday, January 28, 2021 in Sebring, Florida.
Cathy was a member of Maranatha Christian Reformed Church and worked as a beautician in Holland for over 40 years. She graduated from Hamilton High School in 1968 and liked to golf, travel, sing and dance.
Cathy was preceded in death by her father, Archie Jordan; step-father, Leon Rithamel; siblings, Shirley Tyson, Larry Eberhardt, Connie Ristau, Terry Jordan; and brother-in-law, David Tinholt.
Cathy is survived by her husband of 47 years, Randy Arens; children, Michelle (Todd) Bundy of Indianapolis, IN, Melissa Arens of Holland, Jeremy Arens of Holland; grandchildren, Jalen, Spencer, Gabrielle, Isaiah, Jordan; great grandchildren, Ian, Owen; mother, Dorothy Rithamel of Holland; siblings, Vicki (Mark) Wilson of Holland, Gene (Gina) Jordan of Leroy, MI, Mark (Jennifer) Jordan of Wayland, MI, Sandy (Scott) Wolters of Port Sheldon, MI; in-laws, Linda Jordan of Lawrence, MI, Rose Eberhardt of Holland, Gaylene Tinholt of Holland, Loren (Diane) Arens of Holland, Evonne (Mike) Redder of Holland; step-sister, Julie Diane Glove of Los Angeles, CA.
Funeral services (with covid restrictions) are planned for 11:00 am Monday, February 8, at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 918 Central Ave., Holland, with Rev. Matthew Stob officiating (livestream link: https://youtu.be/bKkYlHYAYWc). Burial will be in Graafschap Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled for 1:00-4:00 pm Sunday, February 7, at Langeland-Sterenberg Funeral Home, 315 E 16th St., Holland. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland.
