HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County Sheriff’s deputies, with Conklin Fire/Rescue and Rockford EMS, responded to a single vehicle crash Monday in which a 28-year-old Bailey man was hurt.
The crash happened near the intersection of 32nd Avenue and Harrisburg Road in Chester Township, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Nicholas Knott.
Investigators believe the driver lost control of the vehicle as he was entering the curve in the road near 32nd, and his vehicle hit a utility pole and landed on its side.
The driver went by ambulance to Spectrum Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to Knott. This crash remains under investigation, according to Knott.
