Lee R. Teerman of Holland, Michigan, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, January 25, 2021, after an apparent heart attack at his home.
He was born May 23, 1939, to Ralph & Emma (Hoek) Teerman and was preceded in death by his daughter, Lynelle Teerman, his brother, James Teerman, and sister-in-law, Lila Teerman.
He was a co-owner of Teerman’s with his brothers and son, Jeff. He was a long-time member of Trinity Reformed Church where he had been a deacon and served on consistory in earlier years.
He enjoyed restoring older corvettes and sharing his hobby with many friends. He loved being active and enjoyed being outside and working in the yard.
Lee is survived by his wife Lou Jeanne of 58 years; sons James A. Teerman & Angelic and Jeff & Barb Teerman; 7 grandchildren, Lyndsey & Brad Meiste, Alex & Courtney Vogelzang, Megan & Austin Zoerhof, Kelsey & Garrett Dutton, Misty & Eric King, Jordan Teerman & Matt Wierenga (fiancé) and Austin Teerman; 11 great grandchildren; brothers and sister, Al & Mary Teerman, John & Norma Teerman, Ruth & Don Klaasen; sister-in-law Salome Teerman, and several nieces and nephews.
A private Celebration of Life will be Monday (February 1) at Trinity Reformed Church (livestream –https://www.facebook.com/trinitychurchholland). Visitation will be 3-5pm Sunday (January 31) at the Dykstra Funeral Home-Mulder Chapel, 188 West 32nd Street. Masks are required.
