HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — A single-vehicle rollover crash injured two adults and a 1-year-old Wednesday morning, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Christie Wendt.
Deputies were called to the scene just after 9:30 a.m. Dec. 30, 2020, on I-196, just east of the M-6 freeway. They found a 26-year-old San Antonio, TX, woman had been driving a Pontiac Montana east on I-196 near M-6 when she lost control on the snow-covered roads. The Montana went off the right side of the road, rolling several times.
The driver and front seat passenger both went by ambulance to Spectrum Health Butterworth for treatment of non life threatening injuries, according to Wendt.
The toddler, in the rear seat passenger seat and in a child safety seat, was ejected from the minivan in the child safety seat. Police said the child’s injuries were also minor and were treated at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital.
