ALLEN PARK, MI (WKZO AM/FM) – The Detroit Lions will evaluate quarterback Matthew Stafford today as Detroit prepares for this weekend’s season finale against the Minnesota Vikings.
Stafford has been playing with rib and hand issues, and left Saturday’s loss to Tampa Bay after the first possession with a right ankle injury.
Earlier this week, Stafford said he wants to play Sunday if his ankle responds to treatment to allow him to return to the field.
