LANSING, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – It’s back.
After being a budget casualty in September, 2019, as part of a 137-veto action by Governor Gretchen Whitmer, the Pure Michigan advertising campaign by the Michigan Economic Development Corporation was formally resumed on Monday. The “Still Pure” and “Loud” regional and in-state winter initiative will run through the end of February.
Pure Michigan Vice President Dave Lorenz, during his weekly appearance last Friday on “WHTC Morning News,” said, “I think it speaks to what we all have been going through. It gives us a real sense of hope, because we’ve gone through 2020 and soon we’ll be over it. We’re going to be able to go downhill in a different way, a way that we are all going to enjoy.”
In addition to the ad campaign, the MEDC will also have a Pure Michigan Winter online landing page with more information, which includes access to a digital travel guide through its Michigan-dot-org website.
