Leslie “Les” T. Hellenthal, age 69, of Holland died Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Zeeland Hospital.
He was a veteran of the US Army. Les enjoyed classic cars and going to car shows. He loved riding his motorcycle, bonfires in the driveway and going to the cottage up north.
He was preceded in death by his wife Gail in 2012.
He is survived by his children: Amy and Frank Schipper of Fruitport and Heather and Jim Crowell of Holland; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister: Marilyn and Ted Gilman of Holland; brother: Johnny and Shirley Hellenthal of Holland; sister-in-laws: Jill and Bill Gillard of Irons, MI and Heidi and Joseph Reilly of Holland; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be from 6-8 pm, Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Dykstra Funeral Homes – Northwood Chapel, 295 Douglas Avenue in Holland. Burial with military honors will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland.
