Ronald Dale Lubbers, age 65 of Hamilton, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2020 at home after a 7-month battle with Cancer.
Ron was born January 8, 1955 to Gradus and Florence (Meiste) Lubbers, Holland, Michigan.
Ron worked as a machinist at Paramount Tool Co., for many years along with Textron Micromatic, Ex-Cell-O Corp, and HEMCO.
Ron enjoyed hunting and fishing with his family, along with a couple milestone accomplishments that he was proud of, 2 games of 300 while bowling on 2 different bowling leagues and a hole in one on a golf outing.
Ron was a member of the West Michigan Bowhunters SCI., NRA and a lifetime member of the North American Hunting Club.
He was preceded in death by a brother Leon Jay Lubbers.
Ron is survived by his wife Catherine; son Leon (Tracey) Lubbers; 6 grandchildren Dakota, Carsyn, Zander, Tristan, Addisyn and Jaxson; his parents Gradus and Florence Lubbers; brother Ken (Karla) Lubbers; sister Judy DePree; several- in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
A funeral service to Celebrate Ron’s life will be 2:00 PM Friday, December 11, 2020 at Riverside Chapel, 4242 58th St., Holland, MI.
Burial will be in East Saugatuck Cemetery following the service
Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until the time of the service Friday, December 11, 2020 at Riverside Chapel.
Memorial contributions in honor of Ron may be made to West Michigan Bow Hunters Safari Club.
