ROBINSON TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – A 36-year-old Comstock Park man was injured in a single vehicle crash on a Robinson Township road.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Christie Wendt indicated first responders were dispatched around 3:45 PM on Tuesday to Lincoln Street west of 136th Avenue. A PT Cruiser was westbound on Lincoln and was passing a couple of vehicles when the vehicle lost control, skidded off to the right and overturned “before striking a group of trees,” Wendt said.
The man, who was the only occupant in the automobile, was taken to North Ottawa Community Hospital in Grand Haven for treatment.
Wendt added that, “Alcohol and speed are believed to be a factor in the traffic crash,” which remains under investigation.
