PRESS RELEASE (WHTC-AM/FM) — A 21-year-old Wyoming woman landed in the hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries after a crash Sunday evening, Nov. 22, 2020.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s authorities learned the driver of the car she was in, a 30-year-old Grand Rapids man, crashed after a road-rage incident. Crash investigators found he was driving a Chrysler Sebring east on Port Sheldon street and crossed into opposing lanes of traffic, the car leaving the road and rolling over.
The driver was treated at the scene for minor injuries. the 21-year-old woman went via Life EMS to Metro Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the other vehicle remained on scene to speak with deputies, police said. This crash remains under investigation by the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office.
