HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Three people suffered non-life threatening injuries in a two-car crash just before 12:45 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2020, according to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Cal Keuning.
Sheriff’s deputies, Allendale Township firefighters, and LIFE EMS crews were called to the crash scene, on 60th Avenue near Frostline Drive in Allendale Township.
Police learned that a 24-year-old Ann Arbor man, driving a 2007 Chevrolet Equinox, had been headed to a driveway off 60th Avenue, but pulled in front of a 2016 GMC Sierra.
The Sierra’s driver, an 83-year-old Grandville man, had been headed south on 60th, with a 68-year-old Coopersville woman in the front passenger seat.
Everyone involved had been wearing seatbelts; the airbags deployed in each vehicle. Sgt. Keuning told WHTC the Grandville man and Coopersville woman went by LIFE EMS to Metro Hospital and each was alert and talking as they left the scene. The Ann Arbor man was treated at the scene and released.
