HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Pine Avenue will be completely closed to traffic at 7th Street starting at 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2020. C.S.X. railroad workers will be in town repairing the train tracks across Pine Avenue at Seventh Street and repairing pavement.
Seventh Avenue’s northern-most lane (westbound) will be closed at Pine Avenue as part of this project.
Drivers can expect delays or follow the posted detour, or plan an alternate route on US-31.
Southbound traffic on Pine will be detour to eastbound Fourth Street to Central Avenue. Drivers will find temporary traffic signals at River Avenue and Fourth Street for the safety of drivers crossing on Fourth Street. A temporary four-way stop will be set up at Central and Sixth Street.
Parking will be temporarily banned in select areas along the detour route, for traffic-safety reasons.
While all road repairs are weather dependent, this project is scheduled to be done by 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 25, 2020.
