High school gridiron football teams across the state will return to the practice field on Tuesday, preparing to begin a shortened 2020 season two weeks from tonight, September 18th. The Michigan High School Athletic Association’s Representative Council yesterday approved a full fall interscholastic sports schedule after the state Department of Health and Human Services lifted COVID 19-related health restrictions, although the DHHS did post recommendations about high-contact sports.
