HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County’s Dept. of Public Health will host community COVID-19 testing for anyone, whether or not they have symptoms.
It is primarily a drive-through site. However, people can also do walk-up if they bike or walk in or if organizations want to bring groups in by van or bus.
This is set up as a drive-through or walk-in or bike-in — 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday at West Ottawa High School, 3685 Butternut Drive. People should use the Butternut Drive entrance.
Allegan County health officials have partnered with Intercare Pullman, 5498 109th Ave, Pullman, for drive-through testing on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1 to 4 p.m.
People who need help getting tesing should call Allegan County’s COVID-19 hotline, (269) 686-4546 or their medical provider to be screened. People with health insurance should bring their insurance ID card to the testing site. Insurance is not required for testing. Allegan County residents without insurance will not be charged.
COVID-19 symptoms can include:
- fever
- chills
- cough
- shortness of breath
- difficulty breathing
- fatigue
- muscle or body aches
- headache
- new loss of taste or smell
- sore throat
- congestion or runny nose
- nausea or vomiting
- diarrhea
