HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Ottawa County Commissioner Doug Zylstra has a plan to reintroduce a request to have commission meetings broadcast and record videos of the meetings. Commission meetings had been aired on a public access cable channel, but the board cut that service during the recession and never resumed the broadcasts.
He tweeted over the weekend, he “will be reintroducing the proposal to stream/record Board meetings. If we truly aspire to be a County ‘Where you Belong’, I believe we need to do all we can to include everyone in our conversations & this will be a strong tool to help us do that.”
