UPDATE: Allegan County Sheriff’s officials had a brief press conference at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2020. Allegan County officials noted they had been directed to the Bowman property, and found human remains under a slab of concrete — but did not confirm the report that Hamilton resident Dennis Lee Bowman had made a confession to police.
HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — Allegan County Sheriff’s authorities.searched the property of a man arrested last year on suspicion of the cold-case rape/murder of Kathleen Doyle in Norfolk, VA — and found human remains that may be Dennis Lee Bowman’s adopted daughter.
Aundria Bowman was 14 when she disappeared on March 11, 1989. Allegan County Sheriff’s deputies were spotted searching the Bowman property in Hamilton today, according to multiple social media posts.
Cathy Terkanian, Aundria’s biological mother, has pursued answers about her daughter’s life for years.
Bowman, slated to be extradited last year to Virginia to face charges in the Doyle case, remains in Allegan County Jail, according to Sheriff’s Capt. Scott Matice.
