HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — West and Central Michigan communities may see some frost overnight Monday, Oct. 14, 2019, according to a National Weather Service advisory.
Temperatures overnight are expected to dip to the low 30s between 2 and 8 a.m. Tuesday, with widespread frost east of U.S. 31, but patchy west of U.S. 31.
Low-lying and open areas more likely to be affected. The frost may damage unprotected vegetation, which should be harvested or protected in advance of the frost. Pottest plants normally left outside should be covered or brought inside, according to the NWS advisory.
