HOLLAND (WTHC-AM/FM) — The 26th Annual Zeeland Show & Shine Car Show and Cruise starts today, Friday, July 12, 2019 and runs through Saturday, July 13, 2019.
The annual Zeeland Rotary chicken barbecue dinner is set to start at 4 p.m. and runs until 8 p.m., or whenever the chicken runs out, at the corner of Main and Church streets. It’s a dine-in or carry out operation, with each dinner of a half chicken, two sides and a drink costing $10.
Chicken dinner proceeds fund Rotary scholarships and clean-water projects.
Tonight’s cruise rolls out at 6 p.m. — cruise participants should line up at the Zeeland Stadium starting at 5 p.m.
Saturday’s car show starts with an 8-9 a.m. registration for car participants. Each car registration costs $10, and about 200 cars are expected — classics, hot rods, low rides and custom models. Free admission for attendees.
Among the 30 awards is one called“People’s Choice.”
