HOLLAND (WHTC-AM/FM) — The woman hurt in a June 15, 2019, crash in Grand Haven Township has died.
Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sgt. Mike Vandenbosch said police were notified of 89-year-old Janet Korolewicz died at the hospital from injuries she suffered in the crash.
Ms. Korolewicz was a rear-seat passenger in a 2009 Toyota Corolla with a 16-year-old driver. The Toyota was eastboundon Ferris Street and attempting to turn north onto Forest Park Drive. The teen pulled into the path of a west bound 2012 Chrylser Town & Country, being driven by a 42-year-old woman. The crash left five people with injuries.
Police do not believe alcohol, drugs, or speed do not appear to be factors in the crash, which remains under investigation.
